I found a young tomcat, pure white
with gold/amber eyes and a lovely
nature…. in Windermere road,
Morningside, DURBAN on Friday 23rd
July 2010…the car guard said he’d
seen the cat since Monday morning,
but not before that, so, I guess he
went missing some time before
Monday 19th July 2010.
He is approx. 7 months old and very
friendly, loving and talkative –
but distressingly, not microchipped
or otherwise identifiable.
I have had him vaccinated etc. as a
precaution with my local vet, but
didn’t have the heart to leave him
at the SPCA.
We’re currently looking after him
in our home, but it has to be a
temporary measure because it’s
quite stressful to our three
pampered Siamese to have a stranger
in their midst, so we’d really
prefer to find his owners or a new
home for him…he honestly deserves a
loving home

This unneutered male brown tabby
was found in Lorraine, Port
Elizabeth on Tuesday 20th July
2010. He looks to be around 3 years
old and is a very large cat. The
lady who found him said he had been
hanging around for the last 4
months, so he could have been
missing that long or even longer.
He is very friendly beautiful cat
and once neutered should settle
down.
I am currently fostering him until
we can find his owner or a good

Poor Xavier ( sterilized month old
blue tabby)was lost from 18 Chatou
Road in Richmond, Johannesburg on
06/07/10
Due to the really unpleasant
adopter, it is impossible to enter
the property to rescue Xavier. I
had a blue collar on him, but the
adopter could have change/removed
it and certainly neglected to add a
contact number.
Please call me urgently should you
spot this poor cat. I am praying
that he is still alive because he
has now missed a vaccine booster
and has been subjected to this evil
winter all this time – never mind
other animals and cruel people and
diseases.

after my son’s cats as he has
relocated to Cape Town.
I reside in Northriding area,
Johannesburg (close to Northgate
shopping centre) on an equestrian
estate.
On Fri 9th July his Birman tortie
female cat went missing from the
house in the early hours of the
morning. I do not have a photo of
her, but she is similar to the
photo attached. Her name is
Aureole, she is an extremely
friendly cat with blue eyes and
greyish head, paws and tail.

construction yard at the office, we

At the end of last month I
contacted a lady (I think Doreen)
at catpals, asking if it was
possible to leave my cats with you
guys as I have lost my flat due to
financial problems and was going to
stay with people whom would not
accommodate my cats. I was referred
to Glen Animal Hospital and told I
could contact them, they might be
able to help, but that she had an
idea that they were full. She also
said I must try and place my cats

nice. Eventually, my daughter said
I can place them with her
sister-in-law that stays at the
corner of Voortrekker & Ben Swart
Streets, Gezina, Pretoria. The one
disappeared and I was told only a
week after it happened.
I have put up posters in the area,
contacted the Silverton SPCA, went
there to fill out a form for my
missing cat and also put up a
poster at the gate, with the
security. They let me check all the
stray cats and the hospitalized
cats, but she was not there. She is
missing for 2 and half weeks now. I
have also asked the new tenant at
my flat to keep a look out for her
as I miss her só much and am really
worried about her. She is 12 years,
the other one is 15 years, he is
still with the family and is doing
fine. I think she missed me, as she
always went to hide in a cupboard
if I had visitors specially when
there were small children. When we
were alone, she was fine. Although
she is very shy & nervous with
other people, towards me she is
very loving.

MIMO in Lonehill, Jo'burg |

Mimo went missing on Wednesday the
3rd of March, from my home in
Lonehill (Pineslope Park Estate, 22
Forest Drive). He is 8 years old
and an extremely friendly cat, to
the extent that he could be a
nuisance to a stranger.
He is chipped by identipet, BUT
always managed to get out of his
collar, so he didn't have one on
when he went missing.
I have reported this to the local
vets and constantly call and hound
them, Fourways and Lonehill. I have
handed out flyers to most of the
pets shops, I've also called and am
contact with the SPCA in Sandton,
as well as Randburg SPCA, on
Witkoppen Road just off Malibongwe
Road. I sent a flyer to the
complex's in my area.

LOST: LILLY - Western Cape |

She belong to a homeless man/bergie
named Paul. He adores Lilly and
takes such good care of her.
Liesl has been taking him food
parcels and feeding Lilly Eukaneuba
and Bob Martins & seeing to it that
she is vaccinated/supplying toys
and collars every Friday for the
past 4 months for Paul and Lilly.
Paul and Lilly sleep behind the
Spar building in Parow.
We offered him money to allow us to
take her so that she would be safe
at our house but she is his
companion and no amount of money or
pleading would allow him to part
with her. He baths her with the
tick and flea shampoo we gave him ,
he feeds her well and shows us the
clinic card so that we know he has
used the money to have her
vaccinated. She has only had 2 out
of the 3 that she needs for her
age.
In the early hours of Tuesday
morning, Lilly was stolen from him
(the last time they beat him and
hit Lilly but the vet said other
than a lump, she was fine and
nothing was broken).
Liesl cried all of Tuesday and has
been driving around the Parow/Goodwood
area both lunch times in the
desperate hope of finding her or
the person that the thieves may
have sold her to.
Please, please would you be so kind
as to send these pictures out to
everyone you know, in the desperate
hope that someone sees her in a
township or with the thieves
walking the streets or with someone
who they have sold her to. You
can’t miss her – her big ears are
her best feature!!!!! (as is her
lovely personality and good
manners!).
I am praying and just trying to
keep the faith that she will be
found!

about two months ago. If we cannot
find his owner, we will be looking

He has specific markings that will
help identify him. He is very
large, he isn’t a pedigree but
looks like one except that he has
two white back paws and one white
front paw. His eyes are blue, blue
and he was living in our garden
from about two months ago – that is
849 8th Wonderboom South. He has
been neutred and did not spray – he
was very chubby when he first
arrived but is much thinner now. He
likes to bury his soft food when he
does not like the flavor.
My husband has
taken him to Dr Bosch
Perhaps you could ask Dr Bosch to
take a photo and e-mail it to you.
He was checked for a identity chip
but did not have one. He was quite
cheecky when he first arrived in
our garden but then got tamer and
tamer. He weighs about 6kg easily.
I hope this helps. We would have
loved to have kept him but we have
4 cats of our own.
