We have a new addition to our family, her name is Sarah but we call her Old Lady (as our female Jack Russell is also Sarah).

We adoped her from people who have left the country, she is 17 years old but you would never say it as she is a really feisty old thing and has set her mark as the Matriarch of the house. We just love her to bits and she has settled in very well and is spoilt rotten by my husband and myself.

She loves the top of head or around her neck to be scratched and if you stop before she has had enough she will tap you on your face and sometimes the claws are out a bit just letting you know “don’t stop”
My beautiful Sugar and Spice who are 8 years old now. Sugar is the Tabby and like her name is soft and sweet and cuddly and always smell so nice and has the silliest little meow, Spice also suits her name she is the Torteshell and is ruff and tuff and thinks she is a boy and always fights off intruder cats and is loud and demanding of everything food and attention. Thank goodness they are stay at home cats and rarely leave the garden.

Stone was the most beautiful tabby who started out as a real little scrawny rat and grew into this beautiful boy, he was my daughters cat and when she went overseas he came to us and we just loved him he was just so full of fun but unfortunately he wondered next door and the dogs got hold of him and killed him, my poor husband was most effected by it as he had to stand and watch it as the woman next door would not stop the dogs or let my husband in until it was all over, but he is still with us in spirit and he is buried in the garden.
