PetAlive Adrenal Super Boost by Feelgood Health

PetAlive Adrenal Super Boost is a 100% safe and natural homeopathic remedy that uses ingredients known for their ability to support adrenal health, as well as help support the function of the entire endocrine system.

What is PetAlive Adrenal Super Boost?

The adrenal glands are two walnut-sized glands that are situated above the kideys. These small, but powerful endocrine glands manufacture and secrete steroid hormones (cortisol, estrogen and testosterone) that are essential for health and vitality. Adrenal glands significantly affect the functioning of every tissue, organ and gland in the animal body and determine the energy of the body’s reaction to external triggers. Adrenal hormones also affect the utilization of carbohydrates and fats, the conversion of fats and proteins into energy, the distribution of stored fat, blood sugar regulation, and proper cardiovascular and gastrointestinal function. Major disruption and illness can occur if the adrenal glands do not function properly. Adrenal fatigue can affect any breed or sex. Certain dog breeds such as poodles, German Shepherds, Great Dane, Airedale or St. Bernard may be predisposed to this disorder.

The adrenal glands do not operate in isolation and should be seen as part of overall systemic functioning. From a holistic point of view, therefore, it makes sense that regular exercise and a balanced diet are important in maintaining systemic as well as adrenal health. Certain herbs are also known to support the health of the adrenal glands. As animals react well to supplementation with herbal remedies, these can also play an important role in supporting a pet’s adrenal function. Homeopathic remedies can be equally effective in maintaining healthy energy levels and body weight, digestive functioning, cardiovascular health and electrolyte balance.

PetAlive Adrenal Super Boost is a 100% safe and natural homeopathic remedy that uses ingredients known for their ability to support adrenal health, as well as help support the function of the entire endocrine system. Taken internally, the ingredients in Adrenal Super Boost address acute symptoms such as weight loss, low energy levels and mood fluctuation – as well as helping to maintain balance in the adrenal glands.

PetAlive Adrenal Super Boost contains the following homeopathic ingredients in therapeutic dosages: Onosmodium (6C), Acidum phosphoricum (6C), Gelsemium (6C), Sucrose (inactive ingredient).

PetAlive Aggression Formula by Feelgood Health

What is Aggression Formula?

A pet that displays signs of aggressive behaviour can be very alarming. Many owners tear their hair out trying to control their errant animals while at the same time trying desperately to find a reason for their behaviour. Although humans find aggression unacceptable, the following situations elicit normal aggressive reactions in animals:

  • maternal instinct
  • territorial protection
  • establishment of leadership amongst male animals
  • the hunting instinct
  • discipline of young animals by their parents

Although some breeds are definitely more aggressive than others, experts say there are usually underlying reasons for aggressive behaviour such as fear, insecurity, stress, problems relating to breeding, jealousy, past abuse, illness and pain. Aggressive behaviour can be limited to specific situations such as the dog that barks or attacks the postman – or it can be unpredictable, which is even more worrying. This is particularly alarming when young children share the home with an unpredictable animal or when guests are exposed to an aggressive pet. Aggressive behaviour in dogs can include biting, barking, snarling, snapping and raised fur along the back of the neck and along the ridge of the spine. Aggression in cats can include scratching, biting, excessive yowling, lungeing, hissing, spitting and destructive behaviour. Ideally all the inhabitants of a home – even the furry variety – should live side by side in harmony. If you have an aggressive pet, there is a lot that can be done at home to help lessen the unruly behavior. Firstly, it’s a good idea to take your pet for a check up – pain on your pet’s body can cause it to be grumpy and act out. If your pet becomes aggressive towards other animals while walking, try giving it treats when another animal approaches, then stop when the other animal has passed. This way your pet will associate good things with other animals. If cats or dogs get very aggressive, spray with a plant mister bottle – but always follow up with positive reinforcement. Never hit your pets for being aggressive – this will only make the bad behavior worse! If your pets get into a fight with other animals, never yell – your pet will take your shouting as a sign that you are encouraging them, and will keep fighting! Rather, honk a hand held horn, beat on a frying pan with a stick or turn the hosepipe on them. Never use your hands to separate fighting dogs – you could get seriously bitten. A note on aggressive pets and children:

If an animal shows signs of being dangerously aggressive towards babies and children keep your dog separated from them at all times, and consult an animal behaviorist for coping tips. Again, use treats to associate good things with the baby or child. Make sure your pet’s lead is strong enough (so as not to break) when you are walking him or her in public, and wrap the lead around your arm a few times for better grip. If your pet is extremely aggressive, you may want to carry pepper spray in the event of your pet getting loose and attacking someone. However, for very aggressive pets, it is best not to take them out in public unless they have a muzzle on.

PetAlive Aggression Formula contains an unique combination of specially selected herbal and homeopathic ingredients well known to calm anxious, highly strung or jealous animals and to reduce aggression levels and related problem behaviour in agitated and nervous pets. Especially aimed at pets that tend to bite, scratch or otherwise bother either humans or other animals, PetAlive Aggression Formula helps to treat the problem of aggression in socially stressed pets and allows your pet to relax and enjoy the company of other people and animals. PetAlive Aggression Formula can be used regularly for the chronically aggressive and stressed animal or as needed should aggression and stress become a problem in specific situations.

PetAlive Aggression Formula contains the following 100% herbal and homeopathic ingredients: Scutellaria laterifolia (Scullcap), Matricaria recutita (Chamomilla), Belladonna (30C), Arsen Alb (30C), Hepar sulph (30C), Lactose: inactive ingredient

Dosage:

PetAlive Aggression Formula comes in convenient dissolvable granule form. The tiny granules are easy to administer to pets of all sizes and personalities and are simply sprinkled on the back of the tongue and left to dissolve. No fuss and bother! Acute Dose: Every 30 minutes for up to 6 doses or until symptoms subside, depending on need.

Chronic Dose: Three times daily on an ongoing basis.

Cats and small dogs: Large pinch of granules sprinkled into the mouth.

Small to medium dogs: Two pinches sprinkled into the mouth.

Medium to large dogs: 1/4 cap of granules sprinkled into the mouth.

PetAlive Allergy Itch Ease

Homeopathic remedy relieves itchy skin in dogs and cats
PetAlive Buy 3 get 1 free
Allergy Itch Ease Benefits:

  • Relieves itchy skin
  • Stops scratching
  • Soothes skin allergies
  • Calms your pet
  • Safe and effective
PetAlive Allergy Itch Ease by Feelgood Health

May be used with PetAlive Skin & Coat Tonic to support and strengthen the skin and maintain a shiny, healthy coat.

What is Allergy Itch Ease?

The skin has a protective barrier that helps ensure that animals don’t constantly itch. However, certain harmless factors such as grass or food allergies can lead this protective barrier in the skin to weaken slightly and allow nerve endings in the skin surface to become slightly irritated. This causes the common itching sensation on the skin, which can be quite frustrating to a pet. The animal body is covered by “itch spots”, small areas on the surface of the skin about 1mm apart which convey a sensation of itch when lightly touched. An itch can only arise in the superficial layers of skin and is transmitted to the spinal cord and brain through small fibers. Scientists believe that when animals scratch a large signal is sent to neurons to temporarily mask the itch sensation. The pathways of an itch link the skin, spinal cord and brain and the itch can start anywhere making itching a web of sensation, action and emotion! No wonder poor pets become distressed, jumpy and frustrated when they have itchy skin! Fleas, mites and skin conditions like Eczema, Dandruff, Dermatitis and Scabies can all lead to intense itching – that drives your pet wild with frustration. Some animals will itch so severely, that they create open wounds that bleed and fester.

Being an organ of the animal body, the skin of your pet should not be seen in isolation. In fact, skin health and vitality is best achieved by promoting systemic health for your animal. Make sure your pet follows a healthy diet and gets plenty of exercise to support the body and promote skin health. Don’t over bathe your pet – as this can make skin itchy. Gentle brushing can help too, but remember to be extra gentle if your pet has sensitive skin. Do not use human beauty products on your pet (such as skin lotions or human shampoo!). These products can harm your pet. Natural remedies have an excellent record in the maintenance skin and systemic health and are well worth exploring in a quest for skin support.

Allergy Itch Ease is a 100% safe and natural homeopathic remedy that uses ingredients known for their ability to soothe and calm agitated and itchy skin, as well as support the health and integrity of all cells and layers of the skin. The ingredients are homeopathic, thus addressing acute skin problems, such as eczema, red patches, ‘mottled’ skin and itchiness. Taken internally, Allergy Itch Ease helps to maintain sensory balance of the skin, as well as the supply of oxygen at a cellular level.

Allergy Itch Ease contains the following homeopathic ingredients in therapeutic dosages and equal parts: Arum triph (6C), Viola tri (6C), Comocladia (6C), Chamomilla (12C), Cina (6C), Sucrose (inactive ingredient).

  • Reduce the frequency and severity of pet asthma attacks

  • Reduce respiratory problems and asthma linked to stress and anxiety
  • Relax bronchioles and prevent bronchospasm

PetAlive Amaza Pet by Feelgood Health

AmazaPet can be used in conjunction witb PetCalm for those pets who suffer from stress-induced asthma

What is AmazaPet?

Asthma is a serious disease of dogs and cats that is characterized by chronic inflammation of the small airways in the lungs called bronchioles. In asthma, these airways thicken and when your pet breathes in, they collapse making it difficult for your pet to catch its breath. In severe cases of asthma, the airways become blocked with mucus and the smooth muscle that surrounds the airways goes into spasm (bronchospasm), restricting breathing. Dogs and cats of any age can get asthma, but it occurs more commonly in cats and in young or middle-aged pets. Asthma is particularly common in Siamese and Himalayan cat breeds. During an episode of asthma you may notice your pet’s breathing is shallow, rapid and laboured. You may also notice that your cat or dog has to put a lot of effort into inhaling and exhaling and you may see the abdomen moving in and out quite dramatically. Pets with severe asthma often show open-mouthed breathing and you may notice a blueish-purple tinge to the tongue and gums due to an oxygen shortage. A severe asthma attack can be life-threatening and immediate veterinary attention should be sought.

Mild cases of asthma which present as nothing more than a dry, hacking cough may often go unnoticed or may be misdiagnosed as hairballs in cats. Your pet may also develop wheezing, a whistling sound produced by air travelling through narrowed airways. Some pets lose weight and become lethargic. However, most pets with asthma seem quite normal in between attacks. To diagnose asthma, your vet will take a full clinical history and take a chest X-ray. It may also be necessary to collect a sample from the affected airways, this is known as broncho-alveolar lavage and will confirm a diagnosis of asthma as well as provide information about concurrent infections that may be aggravating the asthma attacks. As is the case in humans, episodes of asthma are triggered by allergens or stress. Some common allergens include grass and tree pollens, smoke, fumes, cigarettes, dust from litter trays and aerosols of various sorts such as perfumes, deodorants and flea sprays. In some cats, cold air can trigger an asthma attack. Pets may also be sensitive to certain foods, as well as food additives such as preservatives and colourants. Some holistic vets believe that multiple vaccinations and commercial pet foods can compromise your pet’s immune system, making him/her more susceptible to allergies, including asthma.

Conventional treatment of asthma in pets usually consists of steroid drugs to reduce inflammation, antihistamines to control the allergic component of asthma and bronchodilators to open up the airways in an attack. Though these drugs can be effective in preventing asthma attacks and for acute relief, as with most synthetic drugs, long-term side-effects and further reduction in immune system functioning are almost inevitable. As in humans, a strong immune system can play a vital role in helping to control pets’ symptoms of asthma and to strengthen the body’s defenses against environmental triggers. Herbal and homeopathic asthma treatment can be extremely effective in pets. Depending on the severity of the asthma, they can reduce or even eliminate the need for the synthetic drugs. Natural remedies may also be used to complement conventional treatment of asthma and do so without compromising your pet’s health or causing side effects.

PetAlive AmazaPet is a 100% natural blend of herbal and homeopathic ingredients specially selected for the treatment of asthma in pets. Presented in convenient lactose tablets, AmazaPet is easy to administer without fussing or fighting.

PetAlive AmazaPet contains the following 100% natural ingredients: Inula helenium (Elecampane), Althea officinalis (Marshmallow), Mag. phos. (D6) Kali. mur. (D6), Arsen. alb. (30C), Phosphorus (30C)

Dosage:

AmazaPet is very effective in clearing the symptoms of asthma in pets and should be administered at the very first signs of respiratory problems in order to prevent or reduce the severity of an attack.  If your pet is in severe respiratory distress with opened-mouth breathing and a blue tinge to the gums and tongue seek immediate veterinary attention. Tablets may be crushed and sprinkled on the tongue or taken whole. Continue for 3 – 5 days after symptoms subside.

Cats and small dogs: One tablet 3 – 5 times daily.

Medium dogs: Two tablets 3 – 5 times daily.

Large dogs: Three tablets 3 – 5 times daily.

Caution: Safety during pregnancy and lactation has not yet been established.

PetAlive AnalGlandz

Effectively prevents unpleasant odours and promotes anal gland health
PetAlive Buy 3 get 1 free
Use PetAlive AnalGlandz:

  • To encourage natural emptying of the anal glands
  • As an aid to manual expression of impacted anal glands
  • To cleanse the anal area and prevent infection and abscesses
  • For pain relief and reduction of inflammation
  • As a disinfectant solution to prevent bacterial growth
PetAlive AnalGlandz by Feelgood Health

Use together with PetAlive Natural Moves for Pets. In the case of infection of the anal glands, the simultaneous use of PetAlive Immunity and Liver Support is strongly recommended.

What is AnalGlandz?

Anal glands, or anal sacs, are two small glands present in both dogs and cats situated just below and either side of the anal opening. On a clockface they would be at positions 4 and 8 o’clock. These glands produce a brown, waxy substance that is secreted through ducts just inside the rectum when pressure is put on the glands- most commonly by the passing of faeces (but also when your pet gets a big fright). This foul-smelling substance, is very unpleasant to humans but useful to animals in the wild, for marking their territory or warding off would-be predators. In modern-day domestic pets, anal glands can often cause health problems. Sometimes the anal gland secretions are not released naturally and build up – leading to thickening of the secretion, clogging of the duct and sometimes even infection and abscesses. You may have seen your pet with his tail up, dragging his behind across the floor. This is an attempt to relieve the pressure and discomfort of impacted anal glands and is called scooting (although this can also be due to an infestation of intestinal worms). Scooting can cause damage to the anus and indicates that your pet is having trouble with his or her anal glands and needs some type of intervention. Cats with impacted anal glands will often start over-grooming. Fur loss on the belly and on the backs of the legs may be a sign of anal gland problems.

When bacteria find their way into the glands, infection can occur and lead to an abscess. Your pet may whimper or cry when attempting to defecate – this should alert you to the possibility of infection. Anal gland abscesses are extremely painful for your pet and will require the attention of a vet and possibly antibiotics to clear the infection. For this reason, it is best to prevent complications as much as possible. Anal glands should be regularly checked and expressed when necessary in order to empty the build up of secretions from the gland. This can be done by your vet, groomer or even by you – getting the knack of this is not difficult especially once you have been shown the technique. To express your pet’s anal glands use your fingers or a thumb and forefinger to gently apply pressure on either side of the anal opening, at 8 and 4 o’clock – on the outside of the glands. Press inwards and upwards and you should see the fluid being expressed. Be warned that the excretion may squirt everywhere – and it’s foul smelling stuff!

A high-fibre diet, as well as regular use of PetAlive Natural Moves for pets (in animals suffering from constipation or irregular bowel movements), will also help to prevent impaction as healthy bowel movements will often express the glands naturally. Heightened awareness of your cat or dog’s physical condition is key when it comes to the problem of impacted anal glands. You should routinely inspect your pet’s anal area for any signs of swelling or sores. A diet high in fat can contribute to thick, viscous anal sac secretions, which can then harden, and block the anal glands. You should discuss a healthy balanced diet for your pet with your veterinarian – one that includes the right amount of fibre to keep stools moderately firm and regular.

PetAlive AnalGlandz contains a blend of natural, cleansing ingredients in an herbal tincture and will effectively cleanse the anal area, reduce pain and swelling and assist in softening of hardened waste material to be expressed from the glands.

PetAlive AnalGlandz contains the following 100% natural, herbal ingredients: Urtica urens, Taraxacum officinale (Dandelion), Matricaria recutita (German Chamomile), Achillea millefolium (Yarrow), Silica (6C)

Directions:

Add 5 – 10 drops to 1/4 cup of warm water (try to make this as warm as your pet will tolerate, without being uncomfortably hot). Using a clean cotton swab apply gentle pressure as a hot compress directly over the anal opening. Apply once daily in the case of compacted or blocked anal glands. Once the anal glands are functioning more normally, use PetAlive AnalGlandz once or twice a week.

Caution: For external use only. Safety during pregnancy and nursing not established. Please consult your veterinarian should symptoms persist.

Note: Use together with PetAlive Natural Moves for Pets. In the case of infection of the anal glands, the simultaneous use of PetAlive Immunity and Liver Support is strongly recommended.

Latest experiments have shown that the animal body is covered by “itch spots” (small spots of the skin that convey a sensation of itch when lightly touched). An itch can only be evoked from superficial layers of skin and mild scratching is one of the best ways to relieve the itch – as it excites the neurons with un-insulated axons. Scientists believe that the massive signal that mild scratching sends to certain populations of pain neurons temporarily overwhelms or masks the itch sensation. Fleas, mites and skin conditions like Eczema, Dandruff, Dermatitis and Scabies can all lead to intense itching – that drives your pet wild with frustration. Some animals will itch so severely, that they create open wounds that bleed and fester. There is a lot that can be done naturally to help relieve itchiness for your dog. Better Bladder Control Benefits:

  • Reduces ‘dribbling’ and bladder ‘accidents’

  • Improves bladder control
  • Supports the sphincter muscles of the urethra

  • Easy to administer
PetAlive Better Bladder Control by Feelgood Health

May be used with PetAlive UTI-Free, Immunity and Liver Support, Kidney Support

What is Better Bladder Control?

The bladder is a stretchy pouch made up of muscle tissue, and is located in the lower abdomen. It is like a balloon that stores urine. The animal bladder serves the function of keeping the waste liquid in one place until it can be excreted – without letting it be re-absorbed into the body. When your pet’s bladder is full, his or her body sends a message to the brain, triggering a sequence of events. The urethra has a sphincter muscle that then relaxes, thus opening the bladder. The bladder then contracts, expelling urine from the body. As pets age it is common for these signals to get sent at the wrong times, or for the urethra sphincter muscle to become weakened. This may commonly cause urine dribbles or common incontinence. Certain illness or disorders may also cause bladder weakness. Your pet’s bladder is responsible for removing toxins and waste from the body. The more fresh cool water your pet drinks, the more dilute his or her urine will become (always make sure your pet has clean water to drink – as a good drink of water is the best way to flush out toxins). Try to avoid letting your dog drink from stagnant (non-flowing) rivers or streams. Leave fresh bowls of cool water around the house to promote drinking. You can even add water to pet food or dry food to supplement water intake. Encourage your dog to urinate frequently – try walks outside, or letting them play in the garden. Always provide your cat with a clean litter box as cats are very fastidious and will not use a dirty litter tray. Never ignore pets who need to be let out to relieve themselves, as this puts added pressure on the kidneys and bladder. Lastly, keep your pet’s immune system in tip-top shape by following healthy nutrition (organic where possible) and giving them plenty of exercise, fresh air and sunshine!

PetAlive Better Bladder Control is a 100% safe and natural homeopathic remedy that uses ingredients known for their ability to address common bladder issues such as frequent dribbling and ‘accidents’, while also supporting the health and integrity of the urinary system. Taken internally, the ingredients in PetAlive Better Bladder Control are homeopathic, thus addressing acute symptoms and helping to maintain balance in the bladder. Supportive and Preventative Formula for Pets with Cancer
PetAlive Buy 3 get 1 free
PetAlive C-Caps Benefits:

  • Help in the prevention and treatment of cancer
  • Slow down the spread of cancer cells to surrounding tissue
  • Improve compromised immune systems
  • Accelerate healing and relieve fatigue
  • Strengthen the lymphatic system to decrease toxin build-up and promote waste elimination
  • Improve liver functioning for optimum health

PetAlive C-Caps by Feelgood Health

Cancer is a serious illness and while the ingredients in C-Caps have shown very promising results in the treatment of cancer, we recommend that they be used as supportive therapy in the overall cancer treatment programme of your pet.

What is C-Caps?

Nobody knows exactly what causes cancer in cats and dogs but a number of risk factors have been identified including genetics, stress, pollution, colourings, preservatives and a nutritionally inadequate diet. These factors and others can damage your pet’s immune system and a compromised immune system damages the body’s natural ability to fight cancerous cells. Finding out that your pet has cancer is devastating. But before you give way to grief, first get pro-active. You need to find out as much as possible about your pet’s condition so that you can provide him/her with optimum care. Find out what type of treatments are available and consider which would be suitable for your pet’s condition. In addition to conventional treatments (which are often effective although extremely harsh) there are a number of alternative treatments which have proved extremely helpful in treating cancer in pets, including acupuncture, aromatherapy and homeopathy. All may be used on their own, or in conjunction with conventional cancer treatments as supportive therapy.

Many holistic vets are increasingly aware of the benefits that natural remedies and complementary therapies can offer in the total treatment program. The importance of boosting your pet’s compromised immune system is also being recognized as essential in slowing down the spread of cancer cells to the surrounding tissue. Your aim is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible by minimising any pain and providing the best possible quality care. Cancer places a huge amount of strain on your pet’s body and the body is doing all that it can to fight off the abnormal cancer cells and stop their spread within your pet’s system. Although conventional treatments for cancer can be very effective, the drugs used place additional strain on the body as they need to be broken down and eliminated to prevent toxic build-up. Conventional drugs can also have side effects such as suppression of bone marrow which can further compromise your pet’s immune system. Natural medicines have been used for centuries to treat a variety of ailments. As more and more clinical trials are showing the effectiveness of natural remedies such as herbalism and homeopathy in treating illness, more pet owners are resorting to natural, side effect free remedies to treat their pets – giving them a more balance and all-round treatment.

Cancer is a serious illness and while the ingredients in C-Caps have shown very promising results in the treatment of cancer, we recommend that they be used as supportive therapy in the overall cancer treatment programme of your pet. Please advise your vet that you are using C-Caps for your pet so that he or she can monitor results. PetAlive C-Caps contain a combination of especially selected and highly respected herbs known for their anti-tumour properties and their ability to optimise immune functioning. Used for centuries in traditional medicine, many of these herbs have been subjected to clinical research which has confirmed their ability to slow down the spread of cancer to surrounding cells, retard the growth of malignant tumours and strengthen a compromised immune system.

PetAlive C-Caps contain the following 100% herbal ingredients: Astragalus membranaceous, Viscum album (Mistletoe), Echinacea purpurea, Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha), Silybum marianus (Milk Thistle), Uncaria tormentosa (Cat’s Claw), Rice Powder: inactive ingredient

What is Clean Cat Shampoo?

Cats are fairly clean animals and will groom themselves quite extensively each day, however, occasionally it is necessary to bath them… Dirt and dust can get trapped in the fur, and knotted or matted hair can keep debris lodged into a cat’s coat. A cat’s tongue is rough and has small barbs on it to help clean its coat. Bathing is needed to keep the hair a manageable texture and sometimes for odor control. Hair that is oily will mat. (See our bathing tips below).

There is a lot that can be done naturally to help keep your cat clean. Regular brushing is best. Don’t brush too hard, and use a fairly gentle hand brush. You can clean your pet’s face and eyes with a soft wet washcloth as you would your own. Remember never to use human soap or cosmetics on your cat.

PetAlive Clean Cat Shampoo is a natural cleansing herbal shampoo for cats (For dogs see our BeFree Flea Shampoo) using only tested, natural ingredients. PetAlive Clean Cat Shampoo may be used as needed, while still supporting healthy skin. PetAlive Clean Cat Shampoo contains absolutely no parabens, sodium laurel sulphate or harmful petrochemicals.

PetAlive Clean Cat Shampoo contains the following 100% natural ingredients especially selected to support skin health in cats: Chamomile (Matricaria recutita), Nettle (Urtica dioica), Cleavers (Gallium aparine), Catnip (Nepeta cataria), Shampoo base ingredients: Aqua, coconut oil, castor oil, olive oil, potassium hydroxide, ethanol, glycerine, grapefruit extract, and lactic acid.

Directions:

Wet fur thoroughly with warm (not hot) water. Apply shampoo and lather thoroughly until entire coat is covered, adding water if necessary and avoiding the eye area. Rinse off well with warm water and towel dry. May be used with PetAlive Skin & Coat Tonic.

Caution: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.

Note: Clean Cat Shampoo is recommended for use along with the following natural remedies: Skin and Coat Tonic, Furball Dr.

What is Clenzor?

Cuts, scrapes, bites and stings, ringworm, flea-bite dermatitis, minor burns: these are all conditions that your pet may experience at one or other stage in their lifetime. Though minor, these can cause pain and discomfort for your pet. By treating these problems quickly, effectively and naturally, healing time will be shortened and complications such as scarring and infection can be minimised. The first step in wound care is cleaning the affected area. By removing dirt and other foreign matter from the wound, the chance of infection developing is lessened. Wounds that are kept clean and dry heal quicker and are less likely to scar. Ideally the wound should be cleaned with a disinfectant solution to destroy any bacteria that may be lurking in the damaged tissues. It is important that the disinfectant that you use is gentle enough for your pet. (Some of the human disinfectants can actually delay wound healing in dogs and cats!!) An additional advantage of cleaning a wound is that it will enhance the effects of any topical cream or ointment that is applied thereafter. So, clean wounds mean better healing and less discomfort for your furry friend.

Dogs and cats can injure themselves in many ways. There are some preventative tips that can help you to make your home and garden safer for your pets. Always keep pathways clear of bushes that contain thorns or sharp branches. Lawnmowers, shovels and other garden implements should be kept locked in a shed, and bikes or large objects that might fall over on your pet should be securely tethered to a fence. If you have cats – be careful of candles that are lit, as cats tend to rub past them and not realize the danger. Similarly, heaters and hot plates should be turned off when you are not in the room to supervise your pets. As a rule, safety tips that you might apply to small children and babies apply to your pets as well!

PetAlive Clenzor is an herbal topical tincture which has similar cleansing and disinfecting properties to the conventional disinfectants such as surgical alcohol or saline. Additionally, Clenzor contains a blend of natural ingredients specially chosen for their soothing and healing properties. PetAlive Clenzor is formulated to effectively cleanse and disinfect wounds, skin conditions and small injuries. Used together with our other PetAlive topical creams and tinctures, Clenzor effectively cleanses, disinfects AND begins the healing process, while also soothing the affected area and providing pain relief for your pet.

PetAlive Clenzor contains the following 100% natural, herbal ingredients in a topical, herbal tincture: Hamamelis virginianum (Witchhazel), Calendula officinalis (Marigold), Melissa officinalis, Urtica urens

Dosage:

Using clean hands and a clean cotton wool swab, apply directly to affected area when needed. Always clean the wound or affected area from the centre outwards to prevent further contamination.

Caution: For external use only. Please consult your veterinarian should symptoms persist. If any swelling of the mouth, tongue or eyes, or any breathing difficulties are noticed after an insect bite or sting, please seek urgent veterinary attention for your pet. Likewise if there is uncontrollable bleeding seek veterinary advice.

Note: PetAlive Clenzor may be used together with PetAlive Wound Dr, PetAlive Ring-Ex, PetAlive PawPaw or PetAlive FleaDerm.
