FOUND:
Hi, a beautiful Maine Coon cat has been hanging around a building site for
1 year. He/she is in poor condition and was presumed to be a wild cat by the
owners of the property. When I saw him/her, I recognised his/her breed
immediately and presume that he/she has either got lost in a move, run away
from a kennel or who knows BUT a cat of this type and quality would not be
feral or stray on his/her own. His/her picture does not really show his/her
full size and his/her face is a lot sharper than it looks. Please contact me
for further details. Hopefully he/she is micro-chipped or will be recognised
by his/her owners. He/she is in the Bryanston area of JHB. I really look
forward to hearing from you in the hopes that we might be able to either
contact his/her owners OR re-home him/her. He/she is dying to ‘come to me’ and
in fact I have stroked him/her while he/she is eating but he/she is too wary

I have attached copy of the notice I have put up in the area of Ladysmith where the cats were lost, and also a photo of both of them together.My son in law will send me a full face frontal of both cats asa he gets back home this morning and I will forward those to you as well.
Background on CatsLarge dark tabby.Name Jazz. He has a microchip. He is also neutered. They took him away from someone as a kitten in roughly February 2008.Silver grey tabby.Name Blues. She is a unspayed female who had just finished weaning her kittens so her milk was still drying up. She was due to be spayed the week she arrived in Limpopo. She has very high prominent cheekbones, rather like a Tonkinese. She was born roughly January 2009.They have spent most of their lives in a flat with a small garden until they moved in with me, and that was about 3 months ago.Blues is very much a housecat, only going out to roll or toilet or sit in the sun for a bit, otherwise she spent most of her time inside.Jazz (the male) loved the garden and really only came in to eat and sleep on my bed at night.Both are beautifully natured but Blues is very highly strung.Reason they are missing.My daughter had a baby recently (born with Infantile Epilipsy) and due to the hours her husband worked (he is a chef) they moved in with me in Durban North.One month after moving in, Jeff was transferred to Zebula Golf Resort and they relocated up there.The two cats were left with me, (I have 6 animals of my own) as they did not yet have permission to take the cats with and Blues was nearly ready to have her kittens.Kittens were born, weaned and homed and on that same weekend that kittens left, permission was granted for them to have their cats.Saw my vet, got the necessary sedations etc and two men that have worked for my son in law for a number of years and who went with him to Zebula, were doing a trip to Durban and back to Limpopo and said that they would transport the cats for us.They picked the cats up on Tuesday late afternoon (about 4.15) and were going to travel straight thru to Limpopo, but apparently changed their minds and stopped off in Ladysmith to see parents.Cats were left in their travelling box on the open verandah of their house and in the morning it was found that cats had got out of the box. Not surprising, as they were due for further sedation after an 8 hour period, they were not given food, nor water or anything.We were informed of all this during the cause of the following morning after jeff phoned them because they had not yet arrived back in limpopo. Pointless yelling and screaming – it has happened and now cats are lost. I went to Ladysmith on Thursday to the area and house where they had stayed, and seached and called all day, then had to come back to Durban North for work next day.I am desperate to find these cats, I have been told by the vet clinic in Ladysmith thats its a dreadful area (It is a Indian community) and what I saw was dreadfully depressing and that to go back this weekend would be fruitile as everyone would be home, they have started with their crackers apparently and there would be too much noise for the cats to come out of hiding if indeed they are still there.I have left notices up in the shops, in postboxes, I went to Animal Anti-Cruelty in Ladysmith and gave them details and photos.I will try anything to get these babies back hopefully alive, my cell is 0741244822 if you need to phone me.The address they were lost from is:7 Kerela Road, Lonehill/Aloe Park, Ladysmith.The house and the area is very close, two streets away, from the first hills of the surrounding countryside.Thank you for your kindness. My cat Tonka has been missing for a few days now. Wesley is a spaded male 1year and 6 months old. He is medium grey with white feet, white under his tummy and chin. He has a vertical white stripe right between his eyes down to his nose. He has green eyes. He is wearing a black collar with a golden tag (heart shape) with his name. He is not chipped.My next door neighbour took him on our driveway the morning of 12th of June 2011. Put him in her car and dumped him, according to her 300m down the road. By now we know that she is lying, since she made to different statements to the police. We called for him day and night in the area and put up pamphlets, contacted all the vets and SPCA’s in the area, but still nothing. We raised Wesley from 5 weeks old, we are heartbroken. The court case is on the 23rd of November 2011. Please pray that she will tell the truth, doesn’t matter what she did to him. My name is Latasha and I’m desperately still searching for my twolost/stolen pets. My dog is close to 8 years old, mixed staffie and Jack Russel, very small, short haired and short tail and she’s tanned in colourand looks likE she’s wearing white ‘socks’. My kitten is a furry gray, white and black kitten with patches of brown, long haired with green/gray eyes. She would be just over 1 years old.This is my story. They was left at kennels in linksfield(I will not disclose names) whilst I was in the process of finding a new home late last year and I was not able to keep them at the place we were staying in. There kennels did not try contact me and events unknown to me occured and this resulted in my dog and cat going missing/disappearing/being given away from their premises. They were not allowed to give my animals away. The kennels claim

LOST: Abby – Hartbeespoort and BritsHAWS’ shelter vehicle was stolen last week Tuesday, 29th March 2011, in
front of the vet in Brits. We took a great dane in for a consultation and
while inside our vehicle was stolen. My little dog was inside and the
thieves drove off with her in the vehicle. I have published photos of her in
both the local newspapers, put up posters in the area, spent hours in the
streets looking for her. The vehicle was stolen in Brits, but as organised
as the theft was (since the vehicle was locked and we had the key), I
started to wonder if maybe they hadn’t driven further away from Brits by the
time the police started looking.Abby loves the car and falls asleep on your lap minutes after the engine
starts – she would not have given them trouble or reason to throw her out of
the vehicle. She was wearing a red body harness with little white flowers on
it when she disappeared – it’s loose enough for her to escape should she get
stuck, but it might still be on her. She is red blond with a white chest and
white bits on her paws. She has a bit of an underbite. She answers to the
names Abby, Abbykins, Snoopy, anything said affectionately. When you pick
her up she turns putty in your arms.Please pass this on to anyone you know within a 200km radius of
Hartbeespoort and Brits. Abby drives everywhere with me…now the car feels
empty and quiet. She has her own pillow next to mine…that feels cold too.
After spending 24 hours a day with her for the 4 months since I adopted her,
