Lynnette Braack

| January 10, 2012

Tsunami. He was born on 26 December 2004, the day that the Tsunami struck. He has the same destructive qualities as the real Tsunami, hence his name is very fitting. He is a cross Siamese / Wild Cat and hails from the Nylstroom area where his father (the Wild Cat) was a roaming man that caught the eye of his well-bred and very distinguished Siamese mom with a long and proud pedigree.

So naturally, Tsunami was the outcast in the litter and dad also took off and was never seen after the “affair”. Tsunami has a personality, next to none. He does not have the ‘loudness’ of the Siamese, but instead ‘peeps’ like the wild cats do.

Another distinctive inheritance from his dad, is the characteristic hair on the tips of his ears. Add to that, that he is not afraid of anything – big dogs, other cats, humans – nothing upsets him and he goes about in his own way. He sleeps with us in bed at night, and then he becomes a real big baby – he suckles on my pj’s, the blankets or anything soft. He likes to sleep on my face where he can feel my breath. I love him to bits!!!!

Suki who is now 15 years old. She was rescued by my son who brought her home when she was about 1 week old. Somebody dropped her into a flower pot at his school and that is where he found her. She is a very quiet, but lovable cat.
