Can you help us sterilise the cats at Transnet in Koedoespoort to prevent future killings?

Dear animal lover,

As you know, there is no greater gift one can give a feral cat (apart from a source of regular food) than sterilisation. Sterilisation ensures that a female never has to scrounge for enough food to feed not only herself but endless litters of offspring, and that a male doesn’t have to fight endless battles with other would-be suiters.

NCat would very much like to sterilise the cats that have remained at the Transnet offices after most of them were recently removed due to their numbers getting out of hand. We would like to ensure that cats are never again killed at Transnet because of excessive breeding!

Will you help us do it? We are not sure how many cats remain, since they are apparently spread out over a wide area, but there are still a good number. Our NCat member and coworker, Cilla Trexler and her Wollmer Project team, have kindly agreed to undertake the trapping.

If you can help, please would you let me know how much you will be able to contribute, so that I can form an idea of how many cats we’ll be able to do?

Then you could use our NCat bank account, marking your donation “Transnet” – see details below. Your help will literally be an answer to the prayers of the cat lovers of Transnet, and ours!
