NCat – Will you help us sterilise more cats countrywide?

| April 18, 2012

Hi everyone,

Today I’m coming to you with a novel request, although it is still for the benefit of animals, of course.
As you may know, NCat (the National Cat Action Taskforce) was established in order to try to help existing cat caregivers countrywide.  We find that we are receiving an increasing number of requests to help with sterilisations, often outside Gauteng.  Since sterilisation is a top priority for us, we  would like to help.

We also have the perfect person for the job: Tricha from Feral Squad, who is also an executive member of NCat. She is prepared to sacrifice most of her spare time, and even to go on sterilisation outreaches outside Gauteng. The only snag is that she recently lost her job, and is finding it hard to cover expenses such as petrol, bait food and cleaning materials. So we would like to be able to offer her some kind of monthly “retainer”, to cover her basic costs and to enable her to get on with this huge and wonderful job.

If you would like to be part of this extremely worthwhile campaign, which will enable Tricha and NCat to sterilise many more cats all over the country (we are already planning outreaches to Bloemfontein and Cintsa in the Eastern Cape), won’t you please contact me?

Alternatively won’t you please make whatever donation (big or small) you can afford monthly, to help us to make this happen? But it would be great if you would let us know that you’re doing it, so that we can add your name to our list of NCat Feline Friends to receive regular, short updates, and send you a certificate of thanks!

Our banking details are: NCat, First National Bank (Branch code 250655), Current account no 62266808983

Please use the reference “Sterilise”.

Many, many thanks and purrs!
Anneke
