After we lost our albino of 14 years to cancer, we decided we will not get another feline friend in her place, and only have Cheetah, a female that we had since birth. So we thought ! Sokkies, a male stray (6.5kg’s!), that adopted us a few years ago, decided to bring us a present in the early hours of the morning. He dropped a small meowing and bleeding bundle in our passage, scaling a 6 foot spiked wall with it, to do so. Its tail was missing, and it was bleeding from the stub, and also from cuts in the face.
Needless to say, we had to raise it with a dropper and syringe, on baby cat milk. We were not used to pyjama drill anymore! He turned out to be the most lovable and playfull cat we ever had! He and Sokkies will chase each other all over the house and garden, but Cheetah decided that he is not her friend. She never made friends with him, and he keeps terrorising her, by creeping up on her, touching her, and running away.
Leeukie is now 10 months old, and loves to play with Sokkies’s tail. (Probably does not know why he has not got one!) I think the pictures speak for themselves.
